Sandy is a member of the Whitefish (Goodfish) Lake First Nation#128. He was a surveyor’s assistant throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories before obtaining a diploma in Management Studies from MacEwan University. He worked for the Community Economic Development Department with the Whitefish Lake First Nation before entering politics as a council member, serving 18 consecutive years. He has been involved and continues to serve with many regional, provincial and national boards and organizations, focused on business and community development. He is currently an Industry Relations / Business Development Officer with Pimee Well Servicing LP.
