HEALTH & SAFETY COUNCIL
The Health and Safety Council brings safety leaders together to tackle the toughest challenges in worker safety — from navigating WCB issues and regulatory changes to closing critical gaps in systems and practices. We collaborate to share what works, fix what doesn’t, and ensure safety standards are strong and consistent across provinces. Through partnerships with industry associations and experts, we amplify our voice to drive meaningful change and build a culture of care and accountability. At the heart of it all is one goal: making sure every worker gets home safe — and together, we’re strengthening safety culture across the industry.
Transportation Issues Council
Transportation is the backbone of the energy industry — tough, essential work that comes with real challenges and risks. The Transportation Issues Council confronts these head-on, developing practical, straightforward solutions to manage risks, enhance driver safety, and adapt to evolving regulations. We don’t just meet standards — we set them, raising the bar for transportation safety across industries and advocating for safer roads for everyone. By bringing together operators, drivers, safety professionals, and regulators, we address the real issues that impact people every day. This work is demanding, and we do it with pride, knowing it keeps everything moving — but progress takes partnership. Together, we make the industry safer, stronger, and more supported, because looking out for one another is what truly matters.
OILWELL PERFORATORS COUNCIL
Oilwell perforating is a highly specialized field where safety is non-negotiable. The Oilwell Perforators Council brings together experts to share insights, solve challenges, and continuously improve safety practices — from handling explosives to ensuring equipment integrity. We help shape training programs, clarify compliance requirements, and address regulatory and operational hurdles that arise from the industry’s complexity. By collaborating with regulators and industry partners, we find practical solutions without compromising safety. With precision, purpose, and pride, we work together to make perforating operations safer, more consistent, and more effective.
Drilling and Completions Committee (DACC)
The Drilling and Completions Committee (DACC) is where technical excellence meets practical experience. This group tackles some of the most complex challenges in drilling and completions, driving improvements in both safety and performance. What sets DACC apart is how all industry associations come together, sharing an equal voice and working side by side to create meaningful change. It’s a space where operators, service providers, and regulators align their expertise to develop solutions that work for everyone.
