Grant is a strategic executive advisor and leader with extensive experience in natural resources and related issues from both a policy and legal perspective, including serving as Deputy Minister of Energy for the Province of Alberta for seven years. He has served on a number of prominent Boards including the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, including four years as Chair. Grant is a lawyer by profession with a particular interest in environmental law and natural resource development. He enjoys teaching and is a Senior Fellow at the CD Howe Institute and is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).
